Superannuation Adviser - Sydney based position
As our fund continues to grow and evolve into the future, we are looking for an experienced Superannuation Adviser to join our dedicated advice team at HESTA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in our members' financial wellness through personalised guidance and limited personal advice.
Your day will see you:
This role is pivotal in our fund to engage with our members through multiple channels to guide their financial decisions through:
• Delivering limited personal advice and guidance on superannuation and retirement strategies to our members through one-on-one consultations in person, by phone or virtually.
• Provide sound advice through compliant, member friendly Statements of Advice (SOA).
• Assist the boarder team to engage with members through our financial seminar programs and workshops.
• Create compliant, member-friendly Statements of Advice.
• Administration support is provided through our paraplanning and implementation teams.
• Assist members with general queries and administration where needed.
About you:
As a trusted adviser, you will play a meaningful role in shaping the financial futures of our members — bringing genuine passion, expertise, and care to every interaction. You are committed to:
• delivering high-quality, compliant financial planning and superannuation advice that makes a real difference at retirement.
• You hold the necessary licensing to provide personal advice, along with necessary educational qualifications that meet FASEA standards;
• You have a strong understanding of the legal and compliance framework, advice process and a high standard when it comes to compliance.
• Proven track record as a Financial Planner or Superannuation Adviser and tenure in the industry.
• Strong understanding of advice processes and regulatory requirements
• Experience in financial services/superannuation sector
• You thrive working autonomously, taking ownership of your work and holding yourself to a high standard
• Excellence in building rapport and relationships
