Admin and Events Coordinator

Posted Date: 31-May-2022

Location: Perth, WA

Company: HESTA Super Fund

The opportunity

The Admin and Events Coordinator (AEC) provides comprehensive and efficient administrative support to the team in the HESTA office.  You are also key to creating a welcoming environment for our team and our members, so while there isn’t a large reception component to this role, you will be representing HESTA to our valued members.  Therefore, it is important that you enjoy liaising with people on a daily basis.
In addition to providing administrative support to the team, you will liaise with the broader Growth Team and relevant bodies to organise member seminars including, retirement and financial planning seminars together with partner events.   That includes managing all bookings, arranging materials, AV equipment and catering, as well as providing campaign support assistance for the team, including executing campaigns through the Client Relationship Management (CRM) platform.  They will also depend on you for budget management.
About you

You have experience in an administration role and are used to working autonomously with limited supervision.  You have also liaised with internal and external stakeholders, both face to face and by phone.  You are very familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite as well as excel, power point, data entry, events coordination and planning, arranging online meetings and may have already used event and campaign management tools.

What’s in it for you?

•    Access to great benefits, ongoing professional development, generous employer contributions and a market competitive total remuneration package
•    Be part of an ambitious, innovative and inclusive culture, whilst being coached and supported by experienced leaders who genuinely care about their team
•    Opportunities to develop new skills and grow your career
•    Join one of the largest and fastest growing superannuation funds

HESTA is a great place to work but don’t take our word for it, we were named (again!) Employer of Choice 2021 by the Australian Business Awards and Employer of Choice for Gender Equality five years running!

Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply
It is important to protect the health, safety and wellbeing of all HESTA employees, and those people they come into contact with at work and reduce the risk of COVID spreading in the workplace and the wider community, therefore all HESTA employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
