As our fund continues to grow & evolve into the future, we are looking for a passionate & accountable Workplace Relations Specialist to join our People & Culture team. Working alongside  the Workplace Relations Lead you will  contribute to a positive workplace culture that balances HESTA’s obligations while enabling our employees to thrive.

This position can be either 0.8 or 1.0 FTE.

In this detail-oriented & hands-on role, your day will see you:

  • Foster collaborative relationships with Strategic People Business Partners and other internal stakeholders to support positive workplace outcomes
  • Provide expert employee relations advice and support
  • Complete workplace investigations and manage conduct, performance and grievance processes
  • Lead the ongoing development and delivery of leadership education, focusing on the effective management of employment matters
  • Prepare & maintain compliance reporting & analytics 
  • Own the governance, compliance & continuous improvement of workplace policies and procedures 

About you: 

  • Strong knowledge of employment law and regulations
  • Experience managing employee relations cases and conducting workplace investigations
  • Experience with the development, review and implementation of workplace policies
  • Demonstrates strong initiative and personal accountability
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
