Senior Insurance Analyst

The opportunity

 

Due to HESTA’s growth agenda, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Insurance Analyst to support  the end to end management of our default and corporate insurance products to improve member outcomes and experience.  Reporting to the Insurance Product Manager, this role is all about working with a variety of stakeholders including HESTA management and employees, insurers, the fund administrator, other services providers and relevant industry bodies as you participate in relevant research projects and inititiatives to ensure understanding of member needs in relation to insurance products.

 

Key to this role is managing tailored insurance benefit designs as part of a Corporate Super offer, including responding to tenders, onboarding new employers/members and experience working within a trustee office of a superannuation fund and with external administrators.  Further, you will ensure insurance product compliance and support vendor performance, resolution of issues, data quality, legislative compliance and service improvements.  

 

This role will be based at our Melbourne head office however there is flexibility to work from home as agreed with the leader.  This is an exciting time to join as you work closely with renewal activities, contribute insurance subject matter expertise and perform analytical tasks

 

About you

 

To put yourself at the front of the line for this exciting role, you’ll have experience in a similar role with demonstrated track record of working as an insurance analyst or within a superannuation, insurance or administration environment with exposure to insurance products, claims or underwriting.   

 

Hands-on experience working and liaising with group insurance providers, including preparation of relevant disclosure documents, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, within a robust and deadline driven environment will be highly regarded.
