The opportunity


12-month contract with a view to extension


We have an excellent opportunity to join an inclusive, dynamic, and close-knit Investment Performance and Analytics team in Melbourne. Reporting to the General Manager – Performance and Risk Analytics, this 12 month contract position will see you provide support to the investment management team regarding portfolio performance and risk analysis, contribution, attribution, validations, and investigations.  You will also assist in identifying performance drivers and other insights that impact the portfolios, asset classes and investment options as well as develop and maintain performance and risk related data including time series, asset allocation that contribute to performance and risk reporting and analytics. This position is also responsible for reviewing and reporting investment risk drivers for member options including conducting stress tests and historical scenario analysis.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who has a ‘can-do’ attitude, enjoys working as part of a dynamic and outcome driven team and would love the opportunity to use their excellent communication and interpersonal skills. To be successful, you will have experience in a role that analyses investment structures and its impact on both performance and risk reporting. You have a strong understanding of performance and risk attribution models and methodologies as well as a solid understanding of complex financial instruments, derivatives, and their impact on risk measurements.
