In the role of Senior Analyst – Investment Business Risk, you’ll be part of the team that is a driving force behind excellence in operational risk management, partnering directly with the Investment Management team to deliver outstanding results and shape the future of first line risk in Investments at HESTA.
You'll be instrumental in fostering a culture of risk awareness and deliver optimised operational risk metrics and reports that drive business success. Leveraging your knowledge and experience to deliver high-quality outcomes, implement strategic change initiatives, you will champion risk awareness, culture and maturity across the team.
About You
You're a risk professional with financial services experience who thrives on complexity and brings knowledge in superannuation and/or investment/asset management. You have a working knowledge of regulatory environments and compliance requirements, complemented by your understanding of risk and governance frameworks.
You will be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role as part of a Compliance, Audit or Risk team in the financial services industry. You have operated as a trusted advisor, working through regulatory changes and regulator requests, developing robust operational risk frameworks and facilitating risk assessment workshops for diverse stakeholders.
You combine analytical thinking with a collaborative approach, transforming complex regulatory requirements into practical solutions. Your attention to detail, documentation expertise, and talent for building strong working relationships make you an invaluable asset to any team.
Professional qualifications in risk management, finance, or related field and relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, economics, physics, actuarial science or other relevant areas will be highly regarded.
