  • Partner with business leaders, change teams and first line risk to assess impacts and design targeted risk capability and training plans.
  • Design and deliver engaging risk fundamentals training and practical tools that strengthen risk and compliance capability across teams.
  • Support the rollout of risk initiatives that uplift risk culture and accountability.
  • Conduct capability and maturity reviews to identify opportunities to improve risk practices.
  • Ensure new team members in the first line understand risk tools, frameworks and ways of working.

What You’ll Bring

You’re a practical, collaborative risk professional who enjoys partnering with the business and translating risk concepts into clear, actionable outcomes.

You bring:

  • Experience in risk enablement, operational risk or risk advisory roles (ideally within superannuation, financial services or another regulated industry).
  • Strong understanding of enterprise risk frameworks and the Three Lines Model.
  • Experience designing or implementing risk uplift initiatives, processes or tools.
  • The ability to translate complex risk issues into clear insights and practical actions.
  • Confidence influencing stakeholders and supporting leaders to own their risk accountabilities.
  • Experience with Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) systems such as Archer or Protecht (desirable).
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, law, risk management or related discipline.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting strategy, people and process while building capability across the organisation. Apply now and help shape the future of risk at HESTA.
