This is an excellent opportunity for someone with early career quantitative research experience to contribute to the asset allocation process at one of Australia’s leading superannuation funds by undertaking quantitative research across our multi asset portfolio.
You will be instrumental in developing HESTA's core investment models and quantitative research capabilities. Working within our Investment Management team, you'll contribute to strategic asset allocation, risk management, and portfolio design to help meet our members' needs.
You will support the development of sophisticated asset allocation models, including strategic risk and return forecasting. Your expertise will be vital in developing capital market forecasts, portfolio simulation, and scenario modelling. You'll contribute to strategic asset allocation advice for the Investment Committee and Board while helping establish new asset class strategies and maintaining robust risk management frameworks.
About You
We're seeking a quantitative researcher with an analytical mindset and some experience in quantitative analysis. You're a collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen and you have worked as a Quantitative Researcher in the finance, science or medical industries. Your passion for financial markets and results-driven approach will help you thrive in our dynamic environment. A CFA, Master of Finance, or relevant higher degree in finance, economics, maths, physics or actuarial science would be highly regarded. Essential requirements include experience in quantitative research and strong coding skills in Python, MATLAB, R and advanced Excel modelling.
