Join HESTA’s highly engaged and collaborative GROW Partnership team as an Incident Response Specialist, where you will lead the end-to-end management of complex, high-impact incidents. This is a key role driving timely, compliant, and member-first resolutions across multi-stakeholder environments.
You’ll be at the centre of managing and resolving systemic and reportable incidents –shaping remediation strategies, strengthening controls, and ensuring we meet regulatory obligations while delivering better outcomes for members.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end management of complex incidents – from triage through to resolution.
- Drive root cause analysis to uncover systemic issues and prevent recurrence.
- Design and implement remediation strategies aligned to regulatory requirements.
- Manage reportable breaches, ensuring appropriate escalation and governance.
- Partner with internal teams and external providers to deliver coordinated outcomes.
- Provide clear, concise updates and insights to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with HESTA’s Incident Management Framework and regulatory standards.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in incident response management within superannuation, insurance, or financial services.
- Strong analytical capability with a track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder incidents.
- Experience delivering remediation programs and regulatory outcomes.
- Knowledge of APRA standards (CPS 230, CPS 234) and ASIC regulatory guides (RG 277, RG 78).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distil complexity into clear insights.
- Time management and prioritisation skills in fast-paced regulatory environments.
- Experience with GRC systems (e.g. Archer) and incident workflows.
- Relevant qualifications; RG146 highly regarded.
