Join HESTA’s GROW Partnership team as an Incident Response Data Analyst/Senior Data Analyst and be at the forefront of turning complex incident data into sharp, decision-ready insights. You’ll play a pivotal role in accelerating triage, enabling root cause analysis, and driving effective, data-led remediation across our operations and partners. At the heart of incident response, you’ll strengthen analysis while ensuring high-quality data underpins every decision - directly reducing risk, improving processes, and delivering better outcomes for members.
What You’ll Do
- Analyse, validate, and structure incident data to determine severity, impact, and ownership.
- Enable rapid root cause analysis and data-driven remediation.
- Deliver clear, decision-ready analysis, reporting and insights to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure complete, audit-ready data in GRC systems to meet regulatory obligations
- Partner across Incident Response, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Insurance, and third parties to drive resolution.
- Identify systemic trends and influence continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in data analysis/incident management within superannuation, insurance, or financial services.
- Advanced analytics and reporting capability: SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and Python/R.
- Strong data transformation skills across complex, disparate datasets.
- Analytical capability with the ability to translate data into clear actionable insights that drive decision-making.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and vendor management experience.
- Clear and impactful communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- A curious mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and passion for exploring AI capabilities.
- Knowledge of IDR/AFCA and GRC systems (Archer) highly regarded.
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Data science and Analytics with AI, or related).
