At HESTA we’re a leading national superannuation fund dedicated to people working in health and community services – a growing sector of ordinary people doing extraordinary things, day in day out, right across Australia.
More than 900,000 Australians trust HESTA with their money. So together, we invest over $66 billion of their savings globally, striving to generate strong investment returns and make a real difference to their financial futures. Our focus is on helping our members enjoy the retirement they’ve worked hard for.

The opportunity – ‘Do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life’ #careerswithimpact

Bring your authentic, passionate, witty self to this exceptional role.

We are on the lookout for a SuccessFactors SME, a guru if you like, someone that understands the tech side as well as the HR end user side. No two days are the same in this role, there will be days you’ll work on some routine stuff, problem solving and configuration, however a lot of your time will be spent on managing and implementing new modules and functionality.

We’ve worked hard to create a solid SuccessFactors base (Recruitment, RMK, On/Offboarding, EC, P&G, S&D, Learning, Report Stories) and continue to build our capability. Join us at an exciting time where we’re looking to implement EC, Payroll, grow our analytics capability and improve our workflow and self-service capability including further automations through to our technology landscape.

You'll get to work across the People and Culture team, the leadership cohort and key stakeholders such as finance and the tech teams to ensure our employees have a seamless experience through the employee journey lifecycle.

If you’ve heard of HESTA, you'll know of the amazing work we do and that we exist for our members; our members are at the forefront of everything we do and for that reason you will be progressive, innovative and logical in your approach when implementing and enhancing solutions that digitize HR activities which enable a culture where our people can thrive and when our people thrive, they deliver exceptional outcomes for our members.

Here’s a few things that you’ll get to enjoy whilst working at HESTA:

  • Your leave and time off matters: up to 6 days paid volunteer leave, additional 5 days of leave at the end year office closure office, access your LSL after 3 years. Take Annual Leave at half pay, and purchase up to 2 weeks additional leave
  • Your professional development matters: up to $5k per year professional development and up to 8 days professional development leave, HESTA scholarships and free access to a range of premium learning tools
  • Your health and wellbeing matters: free annual flu shots and skin checks, incredible social events throughout the year and a comprehensive employee assistance program available 24/7
  • Your financial wellbeing matter: 15% super, financial planning support, end of year payment for all Enterprise Agreement-covered employees, incentivised Employee Referral Program and novated lease options

So, let’s have a conversation, for a position description or a confidential discussion, please email

HESTA is a great place to work but don’t take our word for it, we were named (again!) Employer of Choice for Gender Equality 2022.
We embrace and welcome diversity in our workforce, LGBTQIA+ and Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.

It is important to protect the health, safety and wellbeing of all HESTA employees, and those people they come into contact with at work and reduce the risk of COVID spreading in the workplace and the wider community, therefore all HESTA employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

We’ll close applications when we find the right person, so get in quick before you miss this opportunity.
