Are you passionate about incident management and driving positive change at HESTA? Join our growing  Enterprise Risk & Regulatory - Enablement team in this pivotal role leading the operationalisation and enhancing of HESTA’s Incident Management policy and procedures.  

 

This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by partnering with the first line to align and translate best practices across our business teams and support the business with the tools and capability to drive uplift in managing risks at HESTA. You'll be instrumental in enhancing our operational risk management effectiveness while ensuring alignment with regulatory obligations and HESTA's risk framework requirements. 

 

What You’ll Do 

 

Reporting to the Senior Risk & Enablement Partner, you’ll work collaboratively with Enterprise Risk, Compliance, Incident Owners/Delegates and 1st line Risk & Business Partners across HESTA business teams to deliver effective and timely incident management.  

 

  • Develop guidance for the program, to ensure compliance with the incident management policy and procedures, relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. 
  • Lead the development and implementation of risk capability programs across HESTA to program stakeholders in all lines of accountability. 
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of implementation in BAU of the Incident Management frameworks.  
    Identify, evaluate and take action to support resolution of findings that relate to the Incident Management frameworks that are relevant to the program. 
  • Support business (1st line risk and incident leads) with subject matter expertise on effective root cause analysis and provide support to facilitate workshops to get an elevated outcome in practice.  
  • Drive quality assurance processes for high-severity incidents that transform incident data into actionable insights for key stakeholders. 
  • Conduct post-incident reviews, track and report on key risk indicators and metrics for incidents relevant to the program. 

 

What You’ll Bring  

 

  • Extensive experience in similar enterprise risk / operational risk incident management lead/senior roles (1st or 2nd line), ideally within superannuation or financial services. 
  • Proven track record of overseeing high incident volumes in complex, fast-paced regulated environments. 
  • Strong knowledge of GRC systems (Archer preferred) and the three lines of accountability model. 
  • Exceptional communication skills, stakeholder engagement and ability to influence and drive strategic risk outcomes. 
  • Problem solving capability and the confidence navigating ambiguity and competing priorities. 
  • Tertiary qualification in business, risk, compliance or a related discipline (desirable).
