team in this pivotal role leading the implementation and operationalisation of HESTA’s Incident Management policy and procedures, including 2nd line incident oversight, review and challenge of incidents raised by business teams or third parties, with a specific focus on a critical program of work arising from HESTA’s transition to a new administrator.
What You’ll Do:
Reporting to the General Manager Enterprise Risk, you’ll work collaboratively with Enterprise Risk, Compliance, Business Risk Partners, Incident Owners/Delegates and business process owners across HESTA Business Teams to deliver effective and timely Incident Management.
Program Incident Management escalations
- Develop guidance for the program, to ensure compliance with the incident management policy and procedures, relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with business teams to identify, assess and prioritise action plans for governing, preventing, detecting, correcting and assuring that risks are being effectively managed and incident information is being used to inform strategic decision making, relevant to the program.
- Provide oversight, support and training to program stakeholders in all lines of accountability.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the Incident Management frameworks and their operationalisation to senior management and relevant stakeholders within the program.
- Identify, evaluate and take action to resolve findings that relate to the Incident Management frameworks that are relevant to the program.
- Review the management of incidents impacted and coordinate an enterprise risk approach for systemic or material incidents generated after program go live.
- Develop and deliver enterprise-wide communications regarding high-impact incidents relevant to the program.
- Conduct post-incident reviews, track and report on key risk indicators and metrics for incidents relevant to the program.
About You:
You will have extensive experience in similar incident management leadership roles, ideally a second line role in a financial services or superannuation business, with proven ability to manage/oversee a high volume of incidents in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of operational risk frameworks and escalation criteria, GRC systems (Archer), Monday.com and the three lines of accountability is essential. Proven ability to lead and develop teams, with excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills. Tertiary qualifications in a business, commerce, law, risk and compliance management or related discipline is desired.
