Are you an experienced digital delivery and automation leader ready to make an incredible impact? Join our growing business in this pivotal role, reporting to the General Manager – Digital and partnering with teams across Digital Product, Platform, Experience and Technology teams.
What You’ll Do:
As the the Digital Delivery and Automation Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the digital experiences of HESTA members. Leading the end-to-end delivery lifecycle across the authenticated member digital products from design to delivery. With a strong focus on modernising our delivery processes, you’ll explore and champion the adoption of automation as appropriate to deliver quality outcomes for our members.
Key areas of responsibilities include:
Manage Digital Delivery Lifecycle:
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of digital projects, ensuring an efficient and effective lifecycle that aligns with business objectives and timelines.
- Work collaboratively with Digital Leads to ensure a cohesive delivery lifecycle, across multiple digital products.
Automation and AI:
- Identify, assess and lead opportunities to explore, collaborate, develop automation and AI solutions for efficiency gains in delivery (e.g. oversee the implementation of AI tools).
- Develop a roadmap to mature automation and AI capabilities, including identifying skill gaps, defining governance frameworks, and setting measurable goals.
Digital Delivery and Automation Leadership:
- Lead, mentor and develop a diverse, inclusive and high performing digital delivery team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement, fostering change and digital-first thinking.
Stakeholder Relationship and Vendor Management:
- Provide thought leadership, partner with internal business stakeholders and manage third-party vendor relationships aligned to digital delivery and automation projects.
About You:
You’re a seasoned leader with a proven track record driving end-to-end digital delivery and emerging technology initiatives—particularly in automation and AI. With experience in a similar management role, ideally within financial services or superannuation.
You bring a unique blend of strategic thinking, technical know-how, and people leadership. Your strengths lie in delivering digital programs, managing key vendor partnerships, and identifying emerging technologies that move the business forward. You communicate with confidence and influence at every level, bringing presence, gravitas and credibility.
You hold relevant tertiary qualifications in technology, digital, project management or a business-related discipline—and you’re ready to lead and empower teams/squads aligned to agile ways of working.
