At HESTA, we’re on a mission to deliver exceptional digital experiences for our members – and we’re looking for a Digital Delivery & Automation Manager to cover parental leave in a fixed term contract and help drive that vision forward.
Reporting to the General Manager – Digital, you’ll play a pivotal leadership role at the intersection of delivery excellence, innovation, and emerging technology. You’ll partner across Digital Product, Platform, Experience, and Technology teams to shape how we design, build, and deliver modern digital solutions.
What You’ll Do
Lead end-to-end digital delivery
- Own and optimise the full delivery lifecycle across authenticated member digital products – from concept to release
- Partner with Digital Leads to ensure seamless, scalable delivery across multiple products and squads
- Drive consistency, efficiency, and alignment with strategic business outcomes
Champion automation and AI innovation
- Identify and lead opportunities to embed automation and AI into delivery processes
- Oversee implementation of tools and solutions that improve speed, quality, and team productivity
- Define and execute a roadmap to mature our automation and AI capabilities, including governance, capability uplift, and measurable outcomes
Build and inspire high-performing teams
- Lead and support a diverse, inclusive delivery team
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Champion agile ways of working and a digital-first mindset
Influence and collaborate at all levels
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across the business
- Build strong partnerships with internal teams and external vendors
- Provide thought leadership to shape digital delivery and automation strategy
What You’ll Bring
You’re a strategic and hands-on leader with a passion for delivering impactful digital solutions and exploring what’s next.
- Proven experience leading end-to-end digital delivery and emerging technology initiatives within superannuation or financial services.
- Strong exposure to automation, AI, and emerging technologies, with a track record of driving adoption.
- A natural leader who inspires and empowers teams/squads aligned to agile ways of working.
- Skilled at managing vendors and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Confident communicator with presence, credibility, and a collaborative mindset.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in technology, digital, project management, business or related discipline.
