Are you an experienced Delivery Manager/Lead ready to make an incredible impact? In this pivotal role, you’ll report to the Technology Delivery and Success Manager and partner with multidisciplinary teams to embed agile frameworks, drive the successful delivery of strategic programs, and champion modern delivery practices that make a real difference.

 

What You’ll Do

 

As the Delivery Lead, you’ll oversee the end-to-end delivery of strategic technology initiatives, ensuring they’re aligned with business objectives, customer outcomes, and agile best practices. You’ll bring squads together — Iteration Managers, Product Owners, Engineers, and partners—to deliver value at pace, while creating an environment of transparency, trust, and innovation.

 

Program Oversight & Delivery Management

  • Lead the delivery of strategic technology programs across multiple squads, ensuring on-time, high-quality results.
  • Contribute to and co-lead planning rhythms — including annual technology planning, quarterly 90-day cycles, and monthly prioritisation.

Agile & Iterative Delivery Enablement

  • Strengthen agile delivery capability across the organisation by embedding best practices and tools.
  • Champion continuous evolution of delivery processes and frameworks to increase speed, quality, and efficiency.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Partner with Product Owners and business leaders to align work with value streams and strategic goals.
  • Maintain delivery transparency through clear reporting on progress, risks, and dependencies.

Leadership & Ways of Working

  • Coach and mentor Iteration Managers and delivery teams to build agile confidence and consistency.
  • Foster the use of effective rituals, tooling, and disciplined agile delivery practices.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to optimise delivery across squads and the broader technology function.
  • Lead retrospectives, capture insights, and translate them into measurable improvements.
  • Advocate for Centre of Excellence standards, sharing knowledge and raising the bar on agile delivery maturity.

 

What You’ll Bring

 

You’re an experienced technology delivery leader with a track record of successfully delivering complex programs through agile, hybrid, or scaled frameworks.

 

You bring:

  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and programs in regulated environments (financial services/superannuation).
  • Strong grasp of Agile, Scrum, Lean, and portfolio-level frameworks (like SAFe or Disciplined Agile).
  • Confidence using tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and enabling agile team performance.
  • A strategic mindset with excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and vendor engagement skills.
  • Strong interpersonal presence — you communicate with influence, credibility, and clarity across all levels.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Technology, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Certifications in Program/Project Delivery and Agile Delivery, Scrum Master (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, SAFe) will be highly regarded.
