As our fund continues to go from strength to strength, we are looking for experienced and passionate Compliance people to join our business. As a trusted advisor and compliance guru, you will be the partner with businesses that cover anything to do with data, information security, digital channels, technology and privacy matters. Your role will be to ensure business practices align with compliance requirements, to actively update and maintain related compliance obligations, support the embedment and maturing of controls and monitoring processes, mitigate regulatory risk and oversee and advise on the effective management of compliance breaches.
Not only are you a compliance guru in these areas of expertise, but you have good business acumen, a strategic mindset to be able to address the big issues and are an effective communicator. You are engaging and able to influence and manage multiple stakeholders. You have a growth mindset, adapt readily to constant change and thrive within a collegiate team environment.
About you:
- Strong knowledge of compliance requirements relating to information security, data, technology and privacy in Australian superannuation funds
- Proven experience in compliance roles, ideally with a business partnering focus, and in practically applying compliance frameworks.
- A sound knowledge of superannuation legislation, fund operations, and regulatory bodies like ASIC, APRA, and OAIC.
- Exceptional communication skills to liaise with stakeholders across all levels.
- The ability to prioritise, adapt and deliver sustained progress in a busy and challenging business context
- Experience in supporting breach management, in particular supporting compliance assessments, root cause analysis and advising on controls.
