Are you a Business Analyst specialising in risk and compliance and looking to play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of key risk and compliance initiatives. In this 9-month maximum term contract role as the Obligations and Policy Specialist, you will work closely with stakeholders across compliance, legal, risk and technology. and business teams to understand business needs, translate requirements, and ensure solutions align with regulatory obligations and organisational processes.
Your day will see you:
- Framework & Policy Uplift: Collaborating with key stakeholders to refine and enhance compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures
- Obligations Register Management: Taking a lead role in designing and implementing practices to enhance the maintenance of the obligations register
- Compliance Training Support: Working closely with the People & Culture team and compliance SMEs to design and rollout of effective compliance training
- Data & Insights: Developing and maintaining insightful dashboards and reports through HESTA's GRC system and other data sources
- Management & Board Reporting: Preparing succinct and attuned reports for senior management, executives, and the board on compliance matters
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying and materialising opportunities to enhance the embedment of the compliance framework within HESTA.
About you:
- Experienced Business Analyst, with expertise in risk, compliance or regulatory functions within financial services.
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, obligations management, and risk control environments.
- Demonstrated experience in developing policy documentation, producing governance and board-level reporting.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, and change management.
- Proficient in GRC platforms and data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in translating technical requirements into clear, actionable deliverables.
