Join HESTA and drive innovation in Investment Management as our Business Analyst on this 12 Month Maximum Term Contract.

Are you an experienced Business Analyst with a passion for investment management and a talent for translating complex requirements into practical solutions? We have an exciting opportunity to join HESTA's Investment Projects team on a 12-month contract.

We're implementing a cutting-edge cloud-based solution for our unlisted assets portfolio, partnering with a leading international vendor. This is your chance to play a crucial role in transforming our investment management capabilities.

What you'll do:

• Lead requirements gathering and analysis for our new unlisted assets management system
• Work closely with stakeholders across HESTA and external investment managers
• Facilitate workshops and document business requirements
• Support data mapping and migration from current systems
• Drive solution configuration and implementation
• Collaborate with a major vendor and technical teams

What you'll bring:

It is essential that you can demonstrate:

• Strong understanding of investment portfolio management concepts
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in investment management
• Expertise in requirements gathering, documentation, and process modelling
• Data mapping and migration experience & the ability to navigate complex data requirements
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Visio
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Attention to detail and excellent documentation
• Experience working with international vendors
• Track record of successful system implementations

We would love it if you also have:

• Knowledge of unlisted assets and associated systems
• Experience with investment management products and processes
• Superannuation industry experience
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Tertiary qualification in business, finance, or related discipline
• Business Analysis certification
