Join HESTA and drive innovation in Investment Management as our Business Analyst on this 12 Month Maximum Term Contract.
Are you an experienced Business Analyst with a passion for investment management and a talent for translating complex requirements into practical solutions? We have an exciting opportunity to join HESTA's Investment Projects team on a 12-month contract.
We're implementing a cutting-edge cloud-based solution for our unlisted assets portfolio, partnering with a leading international vendor. This is your chance to play a crucial role in transforming our investment management capabilities.
What you'll do:
- Lead requirements gathering and analysis for our new unlisted assets management system
- Work closely with stakeholders across HESTA and external investment managers
- Facilitate workshops and document business requirements
- Support data mapping and migration from current systems
- Drive solution configuration and implementation
- Collaborate with a major vendor and technical teams
What you'll bring:
It is essential that you can demonstrate:
- Strong understanding of investment portfolio management concepts
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in investment management
- Expertise in requirements gathering, documentation, and process modelling
- Data mapping and migration experience & the ability to navigate complex data requirements
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Visio
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Attention to detail and excellent documentation
- Experience working with international vendors
- Track record of successful system implementations
We would love it if you also have:
- Knowledge of unlisted assets and associated systems
- Experience with investment management products and processes
- Superannuation industry experience
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Tertiary qualification in business, finance, or related discipline
- Business Analysis certification
