This is a role offers a pathway into board governance at one of Australia’s largest profit-to-member superannuation funds. Reporting to the Executive Assistant to the Board and Company Secretary, you will be a key support to the Company Secretariat team in helping keep the Board and its Committees running smoothly while building your understanding of governance in a complex, regulated environment.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate Board/Committee meetings logistics (scheduling, venues, travel, accommodation, and catering)
- Distribute and manage Board/Committee papers with internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate Board registers (Directors, minutes, training, attendance)
- Manage governance platforms (e.g., Diligent, shared drives)
- Support new Director onboarding and coordinate Director expense management
- Maintain the Directors’ learning and development calendar and provide general administrative support to the EA to the Board and Company Secretary and Company Secretariat team.
What you’ll bring
- Strong administration and organisational skills, with experience supporting senior leaders or in a PA, EA, or coordinator role
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- High discretion and professionalism with confidential information
- Clear written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in MS Office and diary management; Diligent Boards experience a plus (but not essential).
- Understanding of Board-level administration/reporting; exposure to financial services or regulated environments valued.
