HESTA is seeking an experienced, hands-on Analytics Enablement Specialist to help our Empowered Intelligence Team deliver at a sustainable pace, unlock business value from analytics, and champion adoption through exceptional training and product experiences.
Why this role matters
In this role, you’ll be the connector between data, delivery, and decision-making, shaping how insights are created, refined, and embedded across HESTA. You’ll coach Agile practices, refine analytics products and backlogs, and enable teams to turn discoveries into outcomes that matter.
What you’ll do
- Lead Scrum delivery: run stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives that boost transparency, adaptability, and velocity.
- Coach Agile excellence: embed Scrum principles, improve flow, and champion continuous improvement with data-driven retros.
- Refine the backlog: partner with product and stakeholders to shape prioritized, outcomes-focused user stories.
- Elevate product experience: translate feedback into refined analytics experiences and drive adoption with targeted training.
What you’ll bring
- Proven Scrum delivery in fast-paced, iterative environments (coaching, facilitation, metrics, and improvement).
- Experience enabling analytics in business settings, translating insights into action.
- Tools: SQL (Jinja a plus), Tableau/Power BI/advanced Excel, Jira and Atlassian.
- Commercial analytics background; superannuation/financial services experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s in statistics, mathematics, analytics, science, or related.
