This is your chance to build specialist expertise at the intersection of investment operations, risk and regulatory reporting, working with sophisticated systems, complex asset classes and some of the industry's most respected external partners. You will develop a rare, transferable skill set spanning mandate monitoring, APRA reporting and RG 97 fee disclosures, positioning you for a long-term career in investment operations, compliance or risk

 

About the role

 


In this 12-month contract, you will oversee daily pre- and post-trade mandate monitoring and contribute to investment-related regulatory reporting, including APRA and RG 97 obligations. You will work closely with the investment team, custodian and external fund managers to keep compliance frameworks accurate and fit for purpose.

 

  • Monitor investment guidelines, limits and restrictions against IMAs and policies
  • Prepare APRA regulatory reports and respond to regulator queries
  • Collect, model and analyse investment fees and cost under RG 97
  • Maintain and improve team procedures, business rules and process documentation

 

About you

 


You bring demonstrated experience in a compliance, audit or operational role within financial services or superannuation, along with a solid understanding of superannuation investment structures. An undergraduate qualification in finance, commerce, risk management, law or a related discipline is essential.

 

  • Confident working with data in Excel, including pivot tables, lookup formulas and power queries
  • Understanding of the transaction lifecycle for listed and unlisted assets
  • Good working knowledge of superannuation investment structures and processes
  • Undergraduate qualification in finance, commerce, risk management or law
