We're seeking a detail-oriented Analyst to join our Investment Analytics and Reporting team, where you'll support investment performance and risk reporting through hands-on analysis and insight generation. This is an opportunity to do analytical work inside a high-performing investments team that values curiosity, technical capability and collaboration.

 

What You’ll Do

In this Analytics role, you will help the Investment Analytics and Reporting team generate insights through the preparation, analysis and presentation of complex investment data. You'll build the pipelines, dashboards, and automated data driven solutions leveraging cloud platforms to streamline analytics and enhance operational efficiency.


•    Support portfolio analysis, attribution and risk analytics across the Investment teams
•    Design and maintain interactive dashboards that bring performance and risk data together for Investment teams and senior stakeholders
•    Build and maintain Python and SQL solutions that automate data ingestion, transformation and routine analytics
•    Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of performance and risk systems
•    Provide analytical support to the Investment teams on portfolio performance, exposures and risk

What You’ll Need

Essential
•    SQL for querying and transforming structured data
•    Python (pandas, numpy) for data manipulation and analytics
•    Experience building interactive dashboards and visualisations (Power BI or web-based)
•    Exposure to cloud data platforms (AWS or Azure)
•    Foundational understanding of investment products
Desirable
•    Experience with data governance, metadata management, or lineage documentation
•    Experience in superannuation or institutional investment
•    CFA, FRM, or CIPM in progress or an appetite to pursue them
