The opportunity
As our fund continues to go from strength to strength, we are looking for a passionate and motivated Advice Relationships Consultant to join our team. Reporting into the Advice Manager, Member Engagement, you will assist the Advice Relationships Team as they work with external advisers to drive improved member growth and retention.
Your day will see you managing and monitoring all operational tasks in support of your team as well as acting as a conduit between the external financial adviser (EFA) network and our fund administrator. You will also assist the Advice Relationships Manager to develop and implement strategic initiatives for the benefit of the EFA network including industry events, marketing and digital activity. Typical tasks will include ensuring compliance and control obligations relating to advice are met to the highest standard. This includes the onboarding and management of the EFA network helping HESTA members, as well as monitoring and managing the EFA digital inbox ensuring adviser enquiries are actioned, and SLAs are met.
About You
You will have experience working as a financial planner within the retail financial advice space and/or within the superannuation advice landscape. Alternatively, you might be an associate adviser or advice graduate looking to take the next step in your career. You will have an understanding of how the superannuation and financial advice sectors intersect as well as the value exchange between the two sectors. You will have excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills that enables you to work in a collaborative and agile way. It’s important that you also bring a high attention to detail and enjoy ensuring compliance and control with regards to documentation, processes and systems. On the odd occasion you will be required to travel, so having a current drivers licence is necessary, and you will be encouraged to complete an RG146 qualification in support of your professional development.
